One special girl | newborn session

Of all the babies I get to photograph and love on at Jami Tatum Photography, my favorites are always my friends' babies! Of course, most of my newborn session clients leave my home studio as friends, anyway. I am so blessed and so very thankful to get to spend a portion of my time making beautiful portraits that will outlive me for my friends and family. Of course, because this gal was so special, she got a ton of likes as soon as I shared her image on Facebook & that got her parents a special gift! I cannot wait for it to arrive so that I can hand-deliver it to them. I just love surprises!

And who doesn't love love love emerald green and purple? This sweet girl was wide awake for most of her session, which is SO okay during a newborn session-I love that eye contact. She looked at her mommy and daddy through the whole thing. It was SO precious.

Do you ever just have to pinch yourself because you think this can't be real? I have to every time a baby comes to see me. "I LOVE MY JOB" is such an overused phrase, but I'm still going to say it, every time. I get especially excited when I get to use my purple backdrops and props. I secretly have a purple obsession.

When she let me put the teddy bear hat on, it was over-my heart was full! The teddy & matching hat are a client fave and I'm looking into getting more colors, soon. I just can not get enough of this sweet little babe!

This little cutie-patootie ALMOST let us get her into the froggy pose, but decided she wasn't going to have it at the very end. But she made up for it with her perfect little face. She's SO stinking cute-what else can I say?
