Birmingham Newborn Photographer | Meet Kaylee
MEET KAYLEE
Something always gets me going when it's time to meet a new, precious wittle face. As a Birmingham newborn photographer, I get to experience that "new-baby-smell" just enough to keep my own maternal clock at bay. Every time I get to hear those sweet newborn grunts & watch them, mesmerized, as they sleep so peacefully, I experience this seemingly unattainable amount of joy and excitement. When I got to meet sweet Kaylee Ann, that feeling returned & all was right with the world. As Hurricane Matthew draws near, I get a feeling that this little girl is going to make waves. She already has, in my heart, at least! Once I got acquainted with this sweet princess, we moved straight into the shoot, as she was perfectly asleep and ready to take on any obstacle this Birimngham newborn photographer was willing to throw at her!
First, mom & I giggled a little bit while trying to swaddle her little gymnast legs up into a sweet little pumpkin-wrap. We held our breath and stared in amazement as she dreamt of sparkles and ponies, lying in crate full of *the best candy EVER* Candy Corn. Although I was amazed at how peacefully she was sleeping, I had to move quickly to avoid Candy-Corn-Sweat!
Next, we tried out something I'd never done, before. We stuffed this sweet little chunk into a pumpkin! *Disclaimer: All shots pictured are composites and should never be attempted by an untrained professional* This was my second pumpkin request for the fall & I have to say..... This shot turned out swimmingly! She didn't seem to mind that pumpkin, at all!
Then, we moved to the next thing, and the next, and each set we smooshed, posed, & laid sweet Kaylee on was better than the last! It was like a magical fantasy where everyone got unlimited free cake and sweet tea & we placed every single tiny hat & every little headband in my travel-arsenal on her sweet little head and she did NOT move an inch!
And, of course we had to rep that Red, White, & Blue for Miss Kaylee's dad! We were able to squeeze in a few patriotic shots before she woke & moved mountains! "Thank you for your service, Daddy!" - Love, Kaylee.
I was so sad when I had to say goodbye, but being a Birmingham newborn photographer allows me to keep a library of precious memories to look back on, in the future & smile, knowing I was able to bless another family with a fun experience that they will remember for a lifetime. Welcome to this world, Kaylee Ann. You are beautiful & you will move mountains, little princess.
