Oh, the heart-strings are yanked!! I. Have. A. FIRST. GRADER!
Being an Alabama family photographer has it's perks. My children get to be followed around and embarrassed by the momarazzi! Wahoo!
So, there we were. All Rico Suave style. Mamma's Baby Bird is learning to fly! Thank goodness it's not time to actually leave the nest, yet. I wanted to stay with him, all day and experience it with him.... Perhaps I am one of "Those moms". Totally shuddering! So, we tried to get brother in this shot but in a three-year old's world, today was NOT the day! If I had one of those leash-backpack contraptions, Andy would certainly have been wearing one. I just dragged him around buy the shirt sleeve, instead (totally kidding... or am I?).
Sadly, I had to say my goodbyes a little more promptly than his first day of kindergarten (SOB), but, as promised, we utilized his "Jitter Glitter"! So, his teacher is awesome and gave us this to use on our first day. Check him out, up there in all of his sparkling glory! I guess I wasn't cool enough to get my own jitter glitter :/. Lame!
Of course, after making our way back out of the school, I had no choice but to let my pet monkey-I mean Andy- Play on the play ground. I couldn't let him feel 'left out', so he got some First day of First Grade portraits, too. HA!
I'm tired. The End.
Oh, wait... Was I supposed to feed the kids dinner? oops! Gotta go!
