Coronavirus, COVID-19, & Jami Tatum Photography

UPDATE: 3/30/2020

As of this update, there are 13 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in St. Clair County, AL. Governor Kay Ivey has ordered closure of all non-essential businesses in the state until April 17th. All sessions with JTP are currently postponed, to be rescheduled after we are allowed to re-open. Once we open to the public, again, Jami Tatum Photography will continue to operate under extreme care and caution & we will continue to follow the guidelines, below, to ensure everyone's safety.

At Jami Tatum Photography,  safety is my main priority at all times, including flu season and during this pandemic. Because I work closely with vulnerable clients including newborns, small children & pregnant women, I would like you to know that I am not taking the current Coronavirus outbreak lightly. I am sure you have concerns about remaining safe and healthy at this time, too.

I would like to share the current steps I am taking to ensure the studio environment remains safe and clean for your photo session. I will be updating this as required and following the WHO and CDC’s guidelines closely.

  • Deep cleaning of the studio after every session and prior to new clients arriving

  • Wearing a protective face mask during the session

  • Asking clients to reschedule if the feel unwell, even if it is mild

  • Asking clients to leave immediately if they present with a cough, fever or any other symptoms and carrying out a deep clean of the studio environment

  • Wearing protective clothing and minimizing prop usage
  • Not reusing props until they have been deep cleaned and left isolated for 48 hours after use
  • If I feel unwell, even mildly, I will contact you immediately to rearrange our session
  • If I have been in contact with anyone who has a fever, cough, or symptoms then I will inform you before the session
  • Tissues will be readily available at all times

If you or your child feel unwell with respiratory or viral symptoms (even if mild) or has been in contact with anyone who is symptomatic before your session, please contact me as soon as possible so that we may reschedule  to another time.

If anyone attending the session appears to have a cough, fever, or other symptoms of a virus, the session will be halted and all clients will be asked to leave immediately.

If I (or anyone in my household )become unwell or come into contact with anyone exhibiting symptoms, you will be notified immediately and we can reschedule to a better time.

I am committed to protecting my clients at all times. If you have any concerns or would like to chat further about booking a session or attending your photo shoot, please shoot me an email at jami@jamilphotography.com.

I will be sending out an email to my VIP List, current clients & sharing this on social media, as well.

Dear Clients of Jami Tatum Photography,

Because I work closely with newborns, small children, and pregnant women ( who are all vulnerable at this time), it is my duty to ensure all clients are protected during their photo session with me. Due to the current coronavirus outbreak, I have introduced some extra safety measures. in addition to my current measures, ALL clients must adhere to this prep guide prior to and during their session with me, which I'm sure you all will understand.

Please do reading follow the prep guide, below, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

  • If you or your child have been in contact with anyone with a cough or fever or if you feel unwell (even mildly) before your session, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. I understand this may be an inconvenience, but it is of utmost importance that I do not allow a virus into the studio at this time due to the vulnerable condition of my other clients.
  • Please ensure you wash your hands well for at least 20 seconds before leaving your house (Sing the alphabet song to time it).
  • Please bring your own snacks/food to eat during the session. Please ensure these are individually packaged and dispose of the waste accordingly.
  • Bottled water will be provided.

DURING THE SESSON:

  • You will be asked to wash your hands upon arrival at my studio.
  • You will be asked to remove your shoes and coat at the door upon arrival.
  • Contact will be minimal and hand shaking is not recommended.
  • If you feel the need to cough, please do so into one of the tissues provided and place immediately into the trash.

AFTER THE SESSION:

  • If you become unwell within 7 days after your session, please let me know immediately, even if you feel it is only mild.

Please note: If anyone attending the session appears to have a cough, fever, or other symptoms of a virus, I will need to ask to postpone the session with no exceptions. it is important to let me know in advance if you are feeling unwell so I can reschedule your session to another time.
